Do you feel that your soul is hurting from problems that seem to have no solution, from recurring thoughts and endless anxiety? I know very well that going through this is extremely difficult, sometimes truly unbearable.
I have been working as a Russian-speaking psychologist for many years. A large part of my audience is "our people" who live abroad. I help them cope with difficult conditions, emotions, and feelings.
If you are a visitor of my website, you might be going through a difficult period of your life. You may be suffering from anxiety, panic, or depression.

Quite possibly you have been trying to cope with these problems by yourself, but then you understood that you are running in circles. You are stuck in a mess of recurring thoughts that are going through your mind again and again, leaving you exhausted and without a hope for improvement.

What can I do to help?
Why is the medicine that I am taking not helping?

Sometimes it is difficult to find answers to these questions, especially when you live in a foreign country and can't express all the nuances of your feelings, thoughts and emotions in another language. The language barrier is not the biggest problem here - there is something much, much deeper, such as numerous differences in culture, mentality, values, and overall frame of mind.

Many of us, when living abroad, experience that weird feeling when we don't quite belong in this new country, although friends and family from our home countries do not understand us either.
For quite a while now I have been working as a psychologist (online and in person) while living abroad - far from the town where I was born, grew up and went to school. During all these years I have gained priceless experience. I have met many people whose understanding of the world and overall limits of perception and consciousness changed after they moved to another country. I understand the way you feel — at some point I felt the same when I was exploring my new life, with all its depth and diversity.

I know from experience that no matter how hard things can get, no matter how overwhelmed one can be when going through a rough time, nevertheless, it is possible to learn how to manage emotions. It is really worth it to take time to understand your inner motives, and maybe change your way of thinking - all that with the help of an experienced professional. As a result, you may find yourself on a path towards tranquility, happiness and joy — a path you have been looking for so long but could not find because you are so busy with everyday tasks. There can be so many of them that we often forget about our inner needs.
